Download and ran this app. Works fine, disk cleanup downloaded files, except one flaw. I did a scan for temp files.
It did the scan. Then showed files. Selected all. Deleted all. This folder I have always monitored manually because windows disk cleanup does not empty this folder. And I downloaded this app hoping it would empty that folder which can get quite large. This app did not empty that folder. It did delete a lot of other temp items, but not this one. Can this app be made to delete the content of this folder. If it can, then will disk cleanup downloaded files 5 stars instead of 4.
Thanks Update: Have been using for awhile now, disk cleanup downloaded files. And 1 major flaw it has. It somehow keeps a database of found temp files, disk cleanup downloaded files. So if you are manually deleting those temp files, then run this program. It will look like it is scanning for present temp files, when in fact it's only using the database as the found files. It is giving false info until fixed. I downloaded the program after reading the great reviews.
The program stopped after scanning 1, files. I cancelled the scan and started over and the same thing happened, it stopped after scanning 1, files when there were more files to scan. I uninstalled this useless program. When I first got it was great, now doesn't work at all scans and doesn't ever stop scanning then stops working this has been going on for a while now and no fixes had to delete it.
